 Line Drawing of Torwoodlee Tower

Torwoodlee Tower became the centrepiece of the celebrations to mark the quincentennary of the Pringle Family at Torwoodlee. We created a fund to raise sufficient money to stabilise the tower - that is to stop it falling down any further rather than restoring it fully.

We need a large amount of money so that we can do the job properly, with advice and help from Historic Scotland, and with a certain amount of archaeology so that we can answer questions about the past history of the site.

If we are succesful we may progress to having a grander affair with more information for the Family throughout the world and more access for those who wish to visit.

You are invited to contribute to the fund.

Any amount will be happily accepted, although the larger the sum, the happier we will be. Any currency will be accepted and we will arrange to convert it into pounds sterling. Any number of contributions will be happily accepted, indeed you are encouraged to come back time and time again to send more money.

Everyone who contributes to the fund (assuming you tell us your name and address) will be acknowledged, kept updated and invited to witness the unveiling of the finished work.
