Once you have reached the Capital of the Scottish Borders, Galashiels, you will want to come out of town north-westwards on the A72 to Peebles; about 500 metres after you leave the 30mph area you will see a Peugeot garage on the left hand side with blue and silver gates almost directly opposite with a wee white lodge house. Come in through those gates and follow the drive up to the Mansion House where you can park.

If we are at home, please feel free to say hello and to ask questions but, otherwise, return half way down the drive where you will see the avenue leading to Torwoodlee Tower bearing off to your right.

Please drive slowly, especially near the Mansion House, as there may be children, dogs and other wildlife around; even grown-ups don't always pay attention. During spring particularly, but also at other times of the year, there may be ground-nesting birds or other creatures about with young so please be careful if you are accompanied by a dog or are straying off the beaten track
